Most interior paint failures come from skipped prep: glossy trim that was not sanded, patches that were not primed, kitchen walls painted over grease. Our prep standard is a written checklist that the crew lead signs off on for every room before finish coats go on. You can read it on the process page.
We use Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products chosen for the surface: washable matte for living areas, scrubbable eggshell for hallways and kids' rooms, moisture-resistant paint for bathrooms, and a hard enamel for doors and trim. Product names and coat counts are written into the proposal.
Older homes in Longview, Kelso and central Vancouver often have plaster, textured walls and layers of oil-based trim paint. We test for lead on pre-1978 homes and follow lead-safe practices when it is present. Cracked plaster is repaired with mesh and setting compound, not just painted over.

How long does it take to paint a room?
A standard bedroom with walls only takes about a day including prep and two coats. Walls, ceiling and trim take 1.5–2 days.
Do I have to move out?
No. We work room by room and keep bedrooms usable at night. Low-odor, zero-VOC paints are available at no extra cost.
What sheen should I use?
Matte or eggshell on walls, flat on ceilings, satin or semi-gloss on trim and doors. We explain the trade-offs during the walkthrough.
Can you match my existing color?
Yes. We take a chip to the paint store for a computer match, or you can give us the brand and code.
Do you paint ceilings?
Yes. Ceilings are part of the Signature and Heirloom packages and can be added to Essential.
